The Fédération Luxembourgeoise des Associations de Sport de Santé (FLASS) aims to increase the participation of people with chronic diseases in therapeutic physical activity classes offered in Luxembourg by its members in order to reduce the risk of recurrences of their diseases and / or to give them a greater quality of life.
The aim of FLASS is to bring together foundations, associations, groups and organizations which offer physical activities in Luxembourg, on a non-profit basis, as part of primary and secondary prevention of chronic diseases. These diseases can be neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, metabolic, muscular, bone, articular, oncological or psychic.
The FLASS missions are:
to develop and disseminate the concept of “Sport de Santé” in Luxembourg,
to promote physical activities in the field of “Sport de Santé“,
to support the training effort for monitors and other supervisory staff,
to guarantee the security and user-friendliness of the practices offered.
The role of FLASS is also to support and enhance its members and represent them with public authorities.
